The Global Social Venture Competition is the largest and oldest student-led business plan competition providing mentoring, exposure, and prizes for social ventures from around the world. Since its inception in 1999, the GSVC has grown in size and in global reach while maintaining its mission of seeding and grounding businesses with socially impactful and financially viable plans.

In 2009, GSVC celebrated its 10th Anniversary with over 300 entrants from 25 countries and hosted the 3rd Annual Symposium on Social Entrepreneurship. The success of these two events would not be possible without the generosity of many donors. We expect GSVC 2010 to build on its success to date and to attract an even greater number of participants from around the globe. Forms of Sponsorship

Financial Sponsorship:

We look for sponsors who are committed to social impact and are looking to fundamentally change the way business is conducted. We seek organizations and individuals that:

Are willing to make a longer-term financial commitment to GSVC (3-5 years), with a minimum contribution level
Are interested in being actively engaged throughout the competition and symposium

In-kind Sponsorship:

The GSVC Finals and Conference is a two-day event comprising a number of events. Each year, GSVC seeks in-kind donations from socially responsible companies and organizations to include in attendees' goody bags.
