Social Venture Competition Asia
The Social Enterprise Network in Korea is a partnership among business schools, educational and research institutions, foundations and corporations to support the study and education of social enterprises and to help youths grow to be responsible business leaders of the future.
The competition, formerly the Social Venture Competition Korea founded in 2006, will encompass Korea, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan. For this competition, Social Venture is defined as "business (for-profit, not-for-profit) in early stage, which, for social mission, pursues social, including enviromental, and financial values at the same time, but provides solutions to social problems of market economy, through innovation and application of management skills".
