SolarCycle, a GSVC winner in 2009, began in response to the staggering environmental damage and negative health effects caused by contaminated drinking water and indoor air pollution in the developing world.

Congratulations to all off the 2010 Global Social Venture Competition's Global Finals winners! From over 500 entrants and 16 finalists, four winnters were chosen in the Blended Value and Social Impact Assessment tracks. Re:Motion Designs, Ruma and Bags of Hope won first, second and third place, respectively, in the Blended Value track while WE CARE Solar won the Social Impact Assessment track. The finals competition and conference was an exciting event, filled with energy, ideas, and individuals dedicated to bringing positive change to our world.
